SCARES AWAIT AT HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

“You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension. A dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind… You’ve just crossed over to… The Twilight Zone.”

Imagine… it’s a stormy Halloween night in 1939 at the infamous Hollywood Tower Hotel. Hollywood is enjoying its Golden Age… a bustling movie town aglow with glitz and glamor. The hotel is a beacon for movie stars and show business elite. Suddenly, amidst the storm, a lightning bolt strikes the tower, causing five people in the elevator to vanish!

This is the Hollywood Tower Hotel that riders encounter at Hollywood Studios… a hotel frozen in time since that fateful night many years before. Enter the hotel lobby draped with cobwebs and covered with dust. Elevators are in a state of disrepair bearing “Out of Order” signs. Through the windows, a lightning storm rages outside.

Guests are escorted by somber bellhops to the awaiting elevators. Do you dare enter? The eerie voice of Rod Serling, host of the chilling TV series from the ’60’s, The Twilight Zone, can be heard…

“One stormy night long ago, five people stepped through the door of an elevator and into a nightmare. That door is opening once again, and this time, it’s opening for you.”

Enter at your own risk. Brave guests strap in for their wild ride…

“You are the passengers on a most uncommon elevator about to ascend into your very own episode of The Twilight Zone… You are about to discover what lies beyond the fifth dimension, beyond the deepest, darkest corner of the imagination, in the Tower of Terror.”

The haunted elevators take riders hurtling up and down through thirteen floors of the abandoned elevator shaft… defying gravity… as sounds of breaking cables and clanging metal add to the screams of the passengers. Definitely not for the faint of heart!

If you make it back… Rod Serling greets you with a welcome message… and a warning…

“A warm welcome back to those of you who made it, and a friendly word of warning… The next time you check into a deserted hotel on the dark side of Hollywood, make sure you know just what kind of vacancy you’re filling. Or you may find yourself a permanent resident of… The Twilight Zone.”

What better way for chills and thrills this Halloween than a ride on the Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios. Going up?
