One of the biggest things that have held back the adoption of the electric car by the consumer was the lack of charging stations.
Tesla worked hard to guarantee that a Tesla charging station would be within 40 miles of you at any given time. This was acceptable, but far from perfect.
Now with millions of Teslas on the road, gas station chain WAWA now sees profit in selling electricity and is testing multiple new stations in Florida with Tesla super chargers.
They already had one in South Florida, and it must have gone well because they are now building Tesla super charges at a brand new station North of Daytona in Palm Coast Florida. The station is about a mile off of the main freeway that goes from Maine to Key West and presumably Tesla will recommend this station to it’s users giving their sandwich sales a huge boost.
